It finally came! The day that almost every girl in the whole world dreams about, thinks about and cannot wait for it to arrive. The Sweet 16.
Hannah had kept up updated on how many days til THE DAY. And then it was here.

The best part of the day was Cambria driving home to surprise Hannah. I was the only who knew she was coming home and we were all so happy to see her. It was awesome. We miss her.

We enjoyed a family meal, then proceeded with the singing, candle-blowing and gift opening.

Cambria decided to let Hannah and Sadie open their gifts from her at the same time, since she wouldn't be here for Sadie's day...

Hannah is like a hummingbird, flitting and bouncing through life and always looking for 'sweetness'. She keeps the rest of us hopping and moving, sometimes it's hard to keep up with her. She is a joy to have in our home, and we are thankful she came to live in our family. It will be interesting to see what she does with her life, which idea she chooses to follow through, since she has so many.
Hannah, we love you and hope this day lived up to some of your expectations! Keep being your fun-loving, happy self and don't let anyone dim your light and zest for life!
